Well, my Laptop is undergoing System Restore, and I would like to know:
1. What would happen if I turned my Laptop off?
2. And I would also like to know what would happen if I close the Laptop. Would it effect System Restore, pause it, or what?
If anyone could answer these two questions, that would be great...
Thanks.

I turned mine off once while restoring and basically, it just didn't restore lol. and closing the lid will most likely pause it.. .

Closing the lid puts your laptop to sleep, doing this would effect the restore and could corrupt files, same with the turning it off, since you're using new system files, if all are not present you can break your laptop.

why would you want to turn your laptop off while you are restoring it,that is a dumb thing to even think, and closing it will pause the restore or even corrupt files and would need doing all over again

Reason why I want to turn it off is because I closed my Laptop. Which then made my Laptop go into sleep mode.
And it seems to me that it's not going to complete now. (The System Restore)
I have put it into sleep mode about 3 times, and have waited about 10 mins for it to complete, but it hasn't.
I have it open now. It's been open for about 30 mins now, and not completed.
So I think the files are corrupt now.
That's why I want to turn it off. /:
I will give the rep when I'm not on my phone, I will give it when ever I can get on TTG on my Laptop.
Thanks...
