Exactly, God couldn't have just appeared randomly, out of no where. Let's say if a god exists, he must have originated from somewhere, he can't just be there. Someone or something must have created God. And the same can be said for whomever or whatever created God.

Matter can NOT be created OR destroyed, it can just change form. Therefore Matter has always been there.
Big Bang Theory is where my opinion goes.

The big bang theory is just a theory. its not right or wrong. its just a possibility. and like Macaphelia said matter can not be created or destroyed. well i don't believe that. Maybe from our intelligence standing we can't know that. so you never know what can and cant be done.

Now before i prove you wrong on everything you just stated above i would like to tell you that I am Catholic. I believe God started all of this change but is not responsible for changing everything. So here goes:

1. You obviously know absolutely nothing about genetics. If you did, you would know that the organisms do not just "transform" because that, as you stated above, is impossible. No, these changes were caused by something else and took millions of years. I will take the "Fishes" family splitting into the "Frogs" family as an example to prove you wrong. So first of all, these changes come from Natural Selection. If you are not familiar with that please google it. Now, these changes are caused by genetic mutations. (Again please google this to further understand). Now say for example 2 fish had a baby, and this baby was born with more leg-shaped fins than normal, thus being able to survive in the environment it lives in. (Be it a swamp, marsh land or something of that nature) Now since Natural Selection is indeed proven by Charles Darwin, that mutated fish would have offspring with leg-shaped fins too until all the fish with fins have died off because the leg-shape is better for their environment. Now the next genetic mutation could be that maybe one of the offspring was born being able to stay out of the water a little. Do you see the chain here? And again, this is extremely gradual and does not happen over a matter of days. More like millions of years.

2. This one doesn't even make sense. This reason has nothing to do with evolution...

3. Now here is where i think God comes in to play. I personally believe that God gave a kick-start to make "The Big Bang" happen. I too believe that space can just turn into matter and creat and enormous explosion.

Maybe you learned a little something from this, or maybe Biology is the class your taking this year. I do not know and do not care for that matter, but when someone challenges this it makes me a bit fiesty because they more than likely do not know what they are talking about. I understand where you are coming from but are completely wrong my friend.

:coffee:

100% true. Also to add on from the above stated animals evolve because they need to adapt to thier enviorments, thus even creating a new species.

I hardly use this expresion, but you, in all honesty, deserve it:
/Facepalm.

Why don't you do some research before posting stuff you don't know about and making yourself look like a complete idiot?

Let me start off by pointing out that evolution is accepted as fact, it is not even a theory anymore. And yes, an animal can evolve into another breed, if its living circumstances change the cell will adapt. Trust me, Darwin was a billion times smarter than you will ever be, he wouldn't make a mistake like that nor his theory would've survived and transformed into fact with it.

The discussion is whether the Big Bang + Abiogenesis made that possible, or a supernatural, invisible, omniscient, omnipotent, omnibelevolent and omniprecent being also known as 'god'. Why did I point all those cualities if I don't believe in him? In order to show you Epicurus' dilema:

Anyways, onto what you said:
The Big Bang theory does not explain the creation of the earth... Gravity and Coloumb's law does. Do you not believe in gravity?

The Big Bang explain the creation of the universe and matter as a whole, and no, no one said it was caused by an atom bumping into another, it was caused by massive amounts of energy and, again, gravity.

And even if you don't believe in it, just because there's no logic explanation doesn't mean a magic being made it.

So your saying i'm made from a fish?
