Alright so your thinking about buying a capture card, cause you wanna make some awesome montages or just play around with them, or just all in all, have one ready just incase you make that shot to where you throw your controller out the window. If so, read on

What do you need to make your capture card work?
----------------------------
Your gonna wanna make SURE! You have these accesories
When you recieve your capture card.
Video and TV Capture Cards vary in the inputs and outputs they come with. Some cards capture only with a Firewire input (also known as IEEE 1394 or i.LINK), others capture with only Analog inputs (RCA and S-Video), while still others capture both Digital (Firewire) or Analog signals. Capture Cards that work like DVRs will also capture TV signals with coaxial inputs and include TV outputs.
Also it makes it easy to have
-Splitters
-AV cables
-Alot of room

If your brand new to capture cards, and dont really know to much about them, and kinda just want to get one to test out and see how it is. EasyCAP Is your best bet.
These range from anywhere to 6$ To 13$

There the most cheap and honestly more easy to use.
Here a pic.

Now easycap's are defiantly not the best quality in the world, but you can usually mess around in the options and make it better, In my opinion have a pretty fast computer, it makes your recording experience ALOT better.

If you need help setting up your easy cap follow this video!

Now if your wanting a more better quality
And more easier use, Your going to want to buy a Dazzle Capture card
These are much better quality, but are a little more pricy then the EasyCAP.

The Dazzle, is a more complexed capture card, because you have more options, and its the most popular recording device like gamers use. Its also more easy to edit your videos with Dazzle.

These are a little bigger, but in length wise, are more organised.
These range from 45$USD To 55$USD

Heres a video to explain how to setup a dazzle

HD-PVR
Now if your going to go ALL out, and want to get the absoulute BEST quality you can get, and the most expensive Capture Card there is, buy the HD-PVR. This is by far the best one you can get.

And hd-pvr. Is Anywhere between the Price range of 100$USD to 120$USD.

Its an amazing Capture card,
