Sony Vegas is a professional video editing software package for non-linear editing systems (NLE) originally published by Sonic Foundry, now owned and run by Sony Creative Software. Originally developed as an audio editor, it eventually developed into an NLE for video and audio from version 2.0. It runs on Microsoft Windows XP (XP x64 not supported) , Vista and 7. In April 2007, Sony along with AMD jointly demonstrated a 64-bit version of Vegas running on 64-bit Vista.

~Video Capturing Devices

-Hauppauge HD PVR

Info

This device usually costs around $200-$220 so i do NOT recommend it if you are not willing to spend time making videos and such. This is a great device and records in VERY high definition so it's a great investment. Here are some videos showing you how to set it up etc.

How to set it up

Where to buy

~Dazzle DVC 100

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Info

This is a device that most people who do not want to spend a lot of money use to record gameplay in standard definition. The quality is not terrible but it's not the best. If you would like to save some money for an HD PVR, buy a dazzle first and then just save up. That is my opinion but you can choose for yourself.

Info

EasyCap, It is soo much cheaper and its quality, if you get the right settings, is as good maybe even better, than the dazzle.
