heyyy i have a problem is there any easy to solder to alternate nand points for the j1d2 header on a zephyr board? as i was using the nandx qsb's read nand no problem wrote xell no problem got the cpu key and went to flash my created freeboot and randomly my nandx stopped picking up a flash config and says no flash controller detected i have checked soldering and all looks fine the traces aren't damage to my eye and i know its a b**ch to solder to the traces as ive had to repair a broken trace on a controller in the past but i dont know any nand points or if there is any as such so could anyone help me out please?

Yes there are alt points [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

But since you have xell already on there, create an image. Name it updflash.bin and place on root of a USB flashdrive. Plug the flashdrive into the jtag. Unplug powerbrick and AV cables. Wait 30 seconds. Plug back in and than boot xell and it will flash the freeboot image.

Im buying a Jtag and its banned does that mean i cannot play it offline at all.... what if i buy one that is ubanned what is the difference because you can connect to live anyways... so which should i buy for offline use now and maybe online in the future... if that even happens...

There is no difference. You can use a banned one offline fine. Go with the banned one and save money

but if jtags become online agian would i have to buy a kv since its banned?

There is no difference. You can use a banned one offline fine. Go with the banned one and save money
but if jtags become online agian would i have to buy a kv since its banned?
Yes you would need a KV but the chances of that happening are slim.

Plus you would prob get it banned by accident before that and would end up wasting a KV

ftp is like a wireless flash drive. you can edit the files on your jtag on your computer wireless

so i already posted a topic but i got nor eplies so i will try it on here

I got the rip of dead island and i put the folder and everything on my jtag

but when i play the default.xex it just freezes and goes to a black screen

i already deleted the save game and that didnt do anything

any suggestions?
