Yes, you can use anything to read the nand. They just suggest that for the price. Xecuter is coming out with an add-on for the nandx to assist with this hack soon.

Hey Uzi around when will people be able to boot into the dash like a regular jtag I know this is not a jtag is a reset glitch but it will have almost the same capabilities as a jtag which is run unsigned codes not for hosting lobbies which never was the purpose of a jtag LOL

Theres no ETA. Its whenever some1 experiments with it more and figures it out.

Alot of people still havent got the chips yet so I doubt it will be anytime soon.
