check on youtube and see if their is any tutorials on how to fix it or if you have a warranty you can get a new one.

turn it off and wait an hour or so.. it may have overheated. if it's still got red ring and you're still under warranty, call microsoft and ship it out to them.. if not under warranty, use the heat gun method, it worked for me.
