are there any cheap games (Fps or shooter) that have good singleplayer story?

I have: Cods, BC2 & 1, portal 2, deadrising, moh.

Gears of War 1 & 2 best single player games of all time. There is even Five books saying what happens before and after the games. The Multiplayer is more addicting than CoD too.
