dont mean to sound like a noob but what is alching

i started two weeks ago and havent really focused on anything but combat

You usually lose money you use the spell to raise magic fast w/o hp

You can lose money, because say you buy a item for 5k, you will alch it and might only get 3k, but some items are good.

Good for powerleveling magic, not for money. In fact in most cases you might lose a bit.

and also does it take any runes?
