and when you said nothing about 8xxx, people are saying you can with the 9193 < thats above 8xxx isnt it, can someone explain this please Thank you

Yea it would, as to enable the jtag hack, the dash has to be pre 7371. The reason freeboot runs on a 9199 dash is because it is updated after the console is jtaged.

i have a jtag that has the 2.0.8xxx dash. how can i update to 2.0.9xxx??
