i dont think so i just did it today with a motion flex v1 edit
ok i wasnt sure i know they patched other ways of hotswaping like the one where you still take apart you xbox put your og copy of waw in let it read and load to dashboard then you put your iso in and it plays right from the disk no install needed

i tried that i tried opening the drive at da same time while pressing the y button
