Is it possible to record gameplay using a Telus Optik TV HD PVR as you would on a Hauppauge HD PVR?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

damn... I was thinking reading the info and it said I would be able to record TV and by that I meant, anything ON the TV screen.

Hopefully it does record, then if it does, maybe I can find a way to get it to record some gameplays.
