I joined this site about a month ago hoping to catch up with what's going on in the modding world since I've been away from it for a few years getting a business going. What have I found instead? A bunch of whiny little petulant children who are always trying to get away with something. [I'll pause now while half of you go look up petulant]

On one hand, I take great joy in laughing at many of you. You do a great disservice to the community as a whole with the way you act. Anyway, I started drafting this as a reply to a specific thread that was so full of lies and half-truths that I felt 30% dumber just for having read it. As I kept typing, I felt this should be shared with everyone. Feel free to flame away, because I've been around the block a few times, I understand how the world really works, and I'll just laugh at your idiocy. If you like what's said here? Feel free to add me as a friend on here and maybe we can do some gaming someday.

Without further ado...

Everyone should really quit spreading lies on this website. Just because you have the ability to somehow scratch together a few correctly spelled words doesn't make you correct. And why the heck do so many people say "legit" and "vouch" when these methods haven't worked for any of them? Do you people even know what these words mean?

Spend some time on the Xbox suspension forums and look at the enforcement team's responses. Bans rarely, if ever, get overturned. Not only that, some of them love to point out how stupidly absurd your story is. Ok, actually, I find those ones pretty funny.

If you get caught, suck it up and deal with. Maybe it's just that I'm twice most of your ages, but that's how the world really works.

Sure this is a great place to learn some cool tricks and all, but when you get caught for them, that's it. Start a new account, buy a new console, go buy a PS3, whatever...

Everyone makes it sound like M$ is "out to get them" and "dealing with people unfairly'. No, that's not how it is at all. Read the Xbox Code of Conduct and Terms of Use. You might actually learn something. That's the contract you sign with the company. Just because it doesn't say that M$ can't explicitly do a certain thing doesn't mean they can't. Those documents exist to tell you what YOU cannot do. They have little-to-nothing to do with what M$ can and cannot do.

And actually, speaking of the Xbox Code of Conduct, try reading that and immediately after read this website's own Community Rules. Some of it sound familiar? Most of the same things everyone on here whines about when M$ does it is also forbidden on this very website.

M$ is full of professionals who know what they're doing. They're not being too hard on the modding community, they're simply doing what the other 99% of the users expect out of them.

The bottom line is, quit with the sob stories about how you got unfairly banned. Deal with it. You did it, you know it, so shut up about it. Quit trying to get around the system and spread lies about how to get unbanned. If there ever is a "legitimate" way to do so, you'll hear about it from those who actually know what they're talking about.

Just like everyone here wants the credit for creating a new patch, new infection, whatever, take the damn credit when you did something wrong as well. You'll go a lot further in life handling things that way.

Well, even though you spent all of that time making that post, it won't change anything. *sadface*
