ok, well my ethernet port stopped detecting ethernet cords, i have updated drivers, uninstalled and re-installed them. i have spent hours online trying to figure it out. i have read command prompt after ipconfig/all and it tells me that the media is disconnected, and netbios over tcpip is disabled. it says i have limited connectivity through the ethernet port, although my computer says it works perfectly fine, and that there are no problems. it worked about 14 hours ago, and i had made no updates to make it stop working. i dont know whats goin on

already tried that. my setup is modem>router router>main computer router(wireless)>laptop and my laptop ethernet is what is not working. i have tried this on my connection, a neighbors connection. it will not work, and safe mode on what? teamviewer? anti virus? what?
