Make sure that both the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller and the Xbox 360 console are turned on.
On the console, press the connect button.

On the controller, press the connect button.

The green lights that surround the Guide button on the controller and the power button on the console spin and flash when the controller is being connected to the console. After the controller is connected, a single green light illuminates on the controller and on the console to show you which quadrant the controller is connected to.

Dude nothing spins and i know all of that ^^ when i turn it on only the green little green power button comes on, nothing spins arround it, and when u conect the controller they connect but then they unconnect right away. and My AV cable is not working its like it aint even plugged up, Any way i could post a video up from my phone? cuz this is starting to piss me off, i swapped the Green buttons out with blue and red and the ROD is yellow instead of red now. i did this like a year ago and it worked fine untill last night when the xbox randomly cut off while i went out to smoke on my porch. If Any 1 can tell me how to post a video up from my phone. i will
