Aye I have the same problem, What I do I just smack the top of the xbox like your spanking a 2 year old. Don't smack it to hard and break your xbox like lightly smack it and it will stop the noise. Your welcome if it works.

install the game to the consel u still need the disc to play but it would be so much more quieter

Same happens to me sometimes and i think it's because of some of the scratched games you have maby?
