so i have a game , scratched to death xbox 360 game , not naming it , it works on MP but , i'd like for it to work on Single player too as i've not played it before the game was free from a friend , but how do i get it to work without having another guy's copy installed on my HDD? if not a way , eh forget it :p

Im pretty sure you can buff the scratches out with toothpaste.

Go to a game store and have them resurface the disc. It usually costs about 2.50, it's cheap and it works.

try putting it in the frezzer for a little bit and wipe it with a really soft cloth

There's some crazy methods, like peanut butter. toothpaste, etc. just check youtube man.

take it to a game store alot of them have profesional machines the buff and resurface the disc
toothpaste/polish is a temp fix and can totaly ruin the game in the future

lol @ toothpaste. that burns the disc o.O yeah sure it gets rid of the scratches but then ur disc doesn't work at all afterwards
