Redstone Guide
In this redstone guide I will show you different redstone logic gates and what they can be used for I will also show you picture's from different angles so you can see how I built them. Now moving onto the first logic gate
RS Nor latch
A Rs Nor latch is used when you want the power to stay on when you click a button . So a example would be if you wanted a iron door to stay open using a button you would connect the button to a Rs Nor latch so when you click the button the power will flick the Rs Nor latch and the power will be supplyed to the iron door keeping the iron door open.
This is what a Rs Nor latch looks like

This is one of the most basic logic gates.
Redstone Difficulty 2/10
AND Gate
AND gates are mainly used for combination locks. AND gates work when you supply the logic gate with one input to each redstone torch so when they are both have power supplyed to them there will be one output coming out the back so you could use that to make a combination lock.
This is what a AND gate looks like when it is off.

This is a fairly simple Logic gate that can be used for diffrent reasons
Redstone Difficulty 4/10
Inverter
A inverter is used to invert a current. So when a current travels through the inverter the current will be turned off then on again. This can be used to turn on a redstone torch to signal a door is open. This is also basically a redstone repeater. But it does have other uses.

This can be quite useful in redstone contraptions.
Redstone difficulty 3/10
Thanks for reading this is the basic redstone logic gates and what they can be used for please +rep and thank the topic also if you have any logic gates or useful redstone tips that you think should be added just post on the topic
Once again guys please thanks the topic and +rep and leave feedback

So you think I should be more clearer in explaining how they work?

BTW thats not an inverter. An inverter inverts the current to the opposite state. Thats an extender, which merely extends the current. Even though I know how to make one, you should add a decoder. If you dont know how to make one, let me know, ill make one and screen cap it.
