Depends on your budget ultimately, and what size screen you will have.
Some mid range gaming cards:
GeForce GT 240
XFX GTS 250 Core edition
ATI HD 48xx
They will stretch you about 90-120 Pounds - 180 DOllars
You will want at very minimum 2 gigs of ram, i would go with 4.
You will need a decent size hard drive, 500GB or more, i recommend Western Digital.
The Cpu will depends on the motherboard, if intel, Maybe a Core i7.
If AMD Maybe a Phenom II X4.

For gaming i would recommend an AMD chip, good for cooling and clocking maybe Phenom II X4? I would say tho make sure everything is compatible before buying first!, i've had that problem and it gets soo expensive!
