Still starting a few years later.

wow, in the state of michigan, if an 8th grader is on a varsity team, he cant play his/her senior year cuz ur only aloud 4 years of eligablility. so i just practiced with the jv and varsity 8th grade year. do/did you play travel or aau baseball?

I don't know what AAU is, but we have USSA and Little League. I've played travel and USSA baseball my whole life. Stopped when I started playing high school.

We don't have eligibility rules, you can play for as long as your able to make the team.

Kids, I'm just wondering if you mean USSSA or is there is an actual USSA?

xDeTiiKaTeD, where in Michigan? I've never heard of that rule.

I live in west and i was told by the principle that if I played varsity as an 8th grader, i would lose one of my 4 years of eligibility for varsity. i dont know if thats my school rules, or conference rules, or the OK systems rules. Thats just what i was told. maybe he didnt want me to play. he doesnt exactly like me...

THis is AAU (Amateur Athletic Union): [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
S**ty rules but very good competition.

Ohh, I'm talking about baseball..

and

yes, I meant USSSA, sorry.
