well this is aload of bull**** cos no on can prestige 3 times within 5 days before release.

The CIA and FBI will track you down, throw you in Jail, give you 50 - 90 Years in Prison, once/if you get out, they will shoot you 12 Times.

I got MW2(7 days) and Black Ops( 3 days) early.
Nothing happend, no ban or stats reset.

i Got my MW2 nad Black ops early..... 2 days early for both of them...the servers are online..but you can only play like free for all or..team deathmatch..... and also i played campaign and spec ops and they didnt seem to care less....if howerever they do catch you..they won't give you a warning...it would be the store you pre ordered it froms fault.

If you get the game early by any store, they can't do anything about it because it's the stores fault. And if they do do something about it you can take it up in court because they're the ones who gave you the game in the first place.

But... If it gets released and you download a pirated version and they catch you with it i think they will ban you. Either xBox will ban you or infinity ward will from there servers.

I'm no expert on this, This is what I've heard from recent games being released early and what the turn out was. Ex: Black ops leaked last year when people were playing it a week early, people were getting banned but only because they were using the iso.
