I have noticed that some members are having issues with doing the update.

Here is a solution that will work.

Delete the bin folder.
To access the .minecraft folder, follow these instructions.

  • Press Windows Key + R
  • In the run box type %appdata%
  • Once the folder pops up go into .minecraft
  • Then delete the bin folder
  • Then relaunch Minecraft.exe.


If this solution does not work for you message me and I will help you out ASAP.

i was noticing problems when minecraft.net was down
i PMed cherry for help and she told me this and it worked <3
