Hey guys I have had a jailbroken Ipod for over A year now but now everytime a open up cydia it loads data for about 5 mins then I bring me back to my ipod home page thing...
Now I am forced to use rock

It's something to do with a bad source you installed. This happened to me when i installed 'All Sources' from the Pwncentre repo.
You need to SSH and delete the sources. How to SSH:

How to delete the sources:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I would delete all sources except for ones you recognize as they can be easily reinstalled.

Go to Rock and either reinstall, or just wait to update it through Rock. Both of those ways worked for me when that happened to my iPhone 3G on all os' from 3.0 to 3.1.3

restart it, Rejailbreak It, Then Connect To Wifi, And try Again Should Work
