War is a Brutal place to be..

i might join the aitforce in about 6 or so months.

I did 4 years in the US Army... Worst 4 years of my life, sorry to say.. Will i ever go back "NOPE". I did love the traveling part of being in the military tho . But serving in Afghan was shitty.. I lost some very good friends of mines. Glad to be home and alive. I think another part that got me, was being away from my lady and my lil boy. But im now back home safe. But im not saying to anyone that wants to join the military not too. it was a great experience at times. But for the most part. NO. Benefits was maybe the best thing out of all of it. Oh, and my PAY was pretty great.

Very brutal, not just brutal my friend, when your out on the battlefield, and your being shot at, well.. Its unforgiving. I remember when i was just a PFC. Our first firefight we got into 7 Privates broke down crying in the middle of it all.

Its. More. Than. Brutal.

I dont do it for the pay.

Here's a bit of advice for people in the military or joining. Don't make a lot of friends. You might end up loosing one and feel depressed. :/

Its really tough, but i always say, "Fight till the end"

My dad was in Gulf War for the Marine Corps never talks about it much...He was telling me how that its just not what he was promised that he wanted to be a tank driver and when he was in boot camp he was the best sharpshooter in the platoon? i think its called and for his reward he got 1st in line at lunch and then they told him he was a Pfc rifleman,I think i would join if there was a really major war,and whenever people he meets like teens that come back from boot camp he laughs his ass off whenever he ask what medal they got i guess if u suck there called Pizza boxes and i dont think he laughs at anything but that lol well that was kinda random but there u go
