Depends on what he meant. In the DJ world...YES...just plug into the microphone jack. But im sure he meant for games tho.

If it has the right connection are you asking like a version of turtle beaches without the mic? If so yes but you must have the right connections.

Nope there is a special end on headphones and mics. you will need to get a adapter if you want to, but I doubt they will work.

Skype? I dont use that. But if you mean just going into the PC's Mic jack..then YES...dont see why you couldnt. I do that for other software when i dont feel like diggin' for my Mic.
