Task d: Output Devices Give examples of a range of output devices, with illustrations, identifying what they would be used for.
1. Speakers This output devices is playback used for audio like music and videos. Speakers are made up of 1 sub woofer and normally 2 speakers but speakers come in all shapes and size surround sound speakers are the most up to date speakers because of the fact they can echo the sounds around a room.
2. Monitor- the monitor shows images and what you are doing with your computer some monitor use touch screen and old type of monitors were called CRT monitor big and bulky monitors but are also cheep now we have LCD monitor also no as a flat screen monitor looks way more smarter and doesnt give of heat like the CRT monitor.
3. Printer- a printer works with the computer making what ever u have on your monitor will come out of the printer on a piece of paper printers can also send a fax there is 4 types of printer Dot Matrix printer even though its old its the only printer what is continuous, ink jet printer this printer is better quality then the dot matrix but the ink will fade when exposed to light. Laser printer makes ink last longer and can print out very fast and the ink is water proof the laser printer has many advantages. Graphics plotter is the 4 printer I am talking about its a very heavy machine is used for big print outs like building structures.
4. Microphone a microphone works like a phone when u speak in to it will payback were ever you want it to programs like team speak let u speak to people around the world without having to pay.
everything below all has something to do with the CPU
What does the CPU do? ---first of all CPU stands for
(Central processing unit) the CPU is the most important element of a computer system some people know it as the central processor. Modern CPUs . are small and square little chips that contain multiple metallic connectors or pins on the underside. The CPU can be found on the motherboard the better the CPU the faster your computer will be. input > apply logic> output is a simpler way of showing you how a CPU works
How do you measure the speed of a CPU? Whenever someone will buy a pc the main thing they will ask for is the speed of the CPU so its a very important thing to be able to measure it. one of the main ways you can measure the speed of a CPU you is using a type of software. The CPU is measure in MHz or GHz (gigahertz)900Mhz would be able to complete 900millon cycles every second. Also u can have a Dual core processor is just a computer with 2 CPUs so things will run 2x as fast just like a quad core processor will run 4x as fast as just a single CPU.
What is cache?- cache supplies the processor with the most frequently requested data and instructions. A small amount (normally less than 1MB) of high-speed memory residing on or close to the CPU
What is RAM?RAM stands for random access memory. It provides space for your computer to read and write data to be accessed by the CPU. When people talk about a computers memory they are usually talking about the ram. The more ram you have on your computer the less times your CPU must read data from your hard disk.
Single core processor ---- a single core processor is a processor with one core so it can only start one operation at a time. The processor is fed instructions and it must order, execute the selectively store its cache for a quick revival and when the data outside the cache is required it will retrieve from the system bus from random access memory (RAM) or from storage devises
Dual core processor---a dual core processor is just a CPU with two cores on the same die and they each have their own cache so it handles incoming data strings simultaneously to improve efficiency so it will work 2x faster than a single core
processor.
Quad core processor --- works 4x faster than a single core processor then downfall is say you did have a quad core processor but the rest of your pc was not high standards the CPU would not run at its full potential.

I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. I don't know why you wrote this, but a whole lot of it is wrong or very misguided.
Cameras don't "use" megapixels.
More cores does not equate to more performance.
Hard drives can go much higher than just a terabyte. Currently they max out at 3 for consumers in the 3.5 inch form factor.
More RAM does not equate to more performance, either. It only helps when you are maxing it out or lowering the latency by upgrading.
I don't know what you were thinking when you wrote the part about printers. Same with speakers.
External hard drives have more than just one use.
CRT monitors are better than LCDs in many respects. The tech is far superior. LCDs do not look "smarter." I have no idea what you mean by that. Both give off plenty of heat.
I don't think you understand many of these things, at ALL.
