So I really want to get a gaming headset for my PC. And I've used my friends Tritton AXPro headset at his house for xbox. And I saw they are compatiable with PC. But my motherboard doesn't have an Digital Optical port (black fiber optic port). So I was wondering if I could still make use of the Tritton headset even without that port. Is there any other way I can connect it? Or should I look into a different headset.

Please help, all help is appreciated.

"For the audio or movie enthusiast, the AX Pro is also compatible with any device that features a digital optical or 3.5mm analog 5.1 outputs."

So, you can just use either the 5.1 output or the speaker output jack on your PC. So, yes you can use these.

It comes with an adapter that allows you to plug it into the Green/Red inputs (Headphones/Mic).

You should probably watch this entire video:

I have linked to the specific point in which he talks about the adapter.

If you would prefer to use the amp just plug in the PS3 USB cable that came with it. It will have better sound quality since the amp is being used rather than just the headphones themselves.
