ps3 just got hacked for a couple months their servers down xbox has nice servers unlike ps3

Depends on what kind of player you are, casual get a ps3, hardcore stick with xbox

also consider the cost to buy all new games at $60 a pop
plus new controllers, and a new mic

so it may not be worth it if you already have a perfectly good xbox
