Well, If you would only use it for music, then i woudlnt waste money on it. But if you are going to be using apps, games, ect. I would get it!

No. Especially as a music player. If you want a good music player, look at Cowon, iRiver, Sandisk, etc. Not Apple. For games if that's your thing, maybe. But I find mobile games to be boring, repetitive, and "empty" so to speak.
For the best gaming and music experience, get a dedicated hard-drive MP3 player and an Android phone. It does not have to be high-end. I have an HTC Incredible I got free on contract about a year ago and I play GBA games on it with emulators. Golden Sun right now. Better than any mobile game I've ever come across.
I also have an iPod Classic I was able to get for 35 bucks broken off ebay and fix. I use the Rockbox firmware to play my FLAC files and use a LOD to a portable amp for improved quality.
Total cost excluding service for my phone (Which in itself is pretty cheap):
~90 bucks.
