Hey guys, I need help with my recording settings. I'm using a hauppauge hd pvr, I export it into a hd720p file and then I import that file into final cut pro. Then when I went to export it out of final cut pro it has some long ass export time.

Anyone got any ideas and what I'm doing wrong? I'm on a mac btw so mac programs only etc. I tried imovie also but the time was 17 hours, lol

make sure you keep alot of ram open when you are rendering a video, also try to cut down on special effects. That should cut down render time.

Thanks I'll try that. I can't believe a final cut export would take that long, that's freaking crayy. Maybe it's because the gameplay was long also though. I'm gonna try it again later
