Let me start off by saying a I am a long time CoD fan and not a fanboy. I play almost every popular shooter out there. These are just my thoughts on both games.

Battlefield 3:
Today was my first time ever playing BF3. I got about 8 games in before the servers went down and I can say that the game is over hyped. On console anyway. Everybody thought that this was going to be the CoD killer, but I don't think so. The game really looks bad on console, graphics are no were near what they should be. MW2 has better graphics. (Please note I am sure this is very different on PC) The game is fun don't get me wrong, but I just love that fast paced action CoD delivers every year. So I started off going about 3-10 because I suck at BF games because I haven't liked any in the past. But after a good 10 to 15 minutes my past experience with shooters helped me get my first ever 10 kill streak on the game, which I admit was very fun. And the BF community isn't as great as everyone was saying it would be, as it seems 50% of the people online are abusing every glitch there is. This shows neither community is perfect. And I know its a beta, but you don't have to abuse it. Over all the game plays alright and is fun, but graphics and players are a problem.

Modern Warfare 3:
I played at XP 2011 and I must say, this is going to be the best CoD yet. If you are a hardcore fan then you remember and love the fast paced gun on gun fights of CoD 4. That is in there. While there are a ton of strike packages, they have no were near the power they did in MW2, so don't worry about that. The only concern I have for MW3 is that there is always a UAV up and it gets annoying. I love what they did making it Point Streaks instead of killstreaks, supports the objective player. Overall this game is going to be a lot of fun and as far I saw there is no over powered bullsh*t like in MW2. The graphics beat BF3 all day and it runs much smoother than BF3, which was a major surprise to me. Overall this game is really fun and I think this will be the game that has me for the next 2 years, if Treyarch fails again.

No doubt in my mind that I will be playing some BF3, but MW3 will be my game of choice this fall.

Try to ignore the user GustaFace, he's being the biggest BF fanboy ive ever seen. He also thinks mw2 takes 6-7 shots to kill someone. :facepalm:
