The team at Logic-Sunrise is pleased today to test the latest products SoulHeaven, a module called USB SPI x360Spiflacher to dump / flash the nand on your Xbox 360

Hardware Requirements

- An Xbox 360.

- A x360Spiflasher ( available [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )

- A low-powered soldering iron (15W max), with a fine tip + Tin + fine wire (eg Kynar AWG30)

Required Software

- NandPro

1) Preparation of the chip

a) Installation of drivers

The first step is to install the drivers ( available HERE ). To do this, connect your x360SpiFlasher to your PC via USB, it should appear as "unknown device" or "memory access" in the Device Manager.

Then make a right click and select "Update Driver"

Click installation manual and set the path to the drivers

You should have a message that the editor of the driver is unknown, simply click on "install this driver software anyway"

You should get after a short time

Your X360SpiFlasher is now recognized by your PC and ready for use.

b) Preparation of welds

You may have noticed, the pads are supplied without the X360SpiFlasher tin, it is necessary to start with and then fill them to place the son. (Note: you can see from the pictures that point 4 of the mini usb are shipped blank, I did the bridge manually, but the final version, the bridge will already be present.

Once the chip is connected to your console, connect to your PC via mini-USB, you should see two lights come on (one green and one blue) and power your console (just plug in the power supply)

Now start a gui or NandPro of this software as found [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

NandPro with the main lines of commands are:

If you have 16MB of nand

- To read the nand => NandPro usb:-r16 Nomdelanand.bin

- To write the nand => NandPro usb: w16-Nomdelanand.bin

- To write the image.'s Glitch ecc => NandPro usb: + w16 nomdel'image. Ecc

If you have a nand 256/512mo

- To read the nand => NandPro usb:-r64 Nomdelanand.bin

- To write the nand => NandPro usb: w64-Nomdelanand.bin

- To write the image.'s Glitch ecc => NandPro usb: + w64 nomdel'image. Ecc

Once the dump is over the blue light will turn off.

3) Advantages of this chip

The big advantage of this chip is that it is aimed at two types of users:

- Professionals interested in using this chip in a regular and on several consoles.

- The paticuliers who will use it only on one console and would therefore like to let it install.

For pariculier it is possible to separate the mini-USB the body of the chip, and so resort to the actual console, you will have easy access to reflash your nand when worry and without having to re- -open your console.

kinda off topic, but what is the file size on the slim nand?
