Games that have demos or betas instead of just trailers seem to take a hit in sales. I think if the demo/beta is anything short of amazing it may work against the game.

Know why MW2, Black Ops, and MW3 dont have a beta? Because people may not like it, and it will affect their sells. Know why BF3 has one? Because it needs publicity.

People like why me will tell you its not about the money..but hes ignorant. Its about the money and everyone knows that. And saying "Atleast the fans think our game is better" wont make up for the fact acitivision is going to be making a WHOLE bunch more money then EA.

I'm a realist, so I'm going to speak the truth. I personally like the beta and realize its nothing like the real game.
Nobody really cares who sells more, I couldn't care less if mw3 makes more money, because I think bf3 is better.

I dont give a **** who sells more, but the developers do. And theirs no way you can be stupid enough to think the developers dont care about sales. Saying "i think BF3 is better' isnt going to make EA feel better about how much more moeny activision will be making this holiday season lmao.

BF3 almost had more days in top 10 then Mw3 has in top 100... interesting data:)

They're not happy. The Beta isn't that bad but It's for sure not the cod killer it was supposed to be.

Yeah i guess your right about the negative rep thing but i just hate it how people go into topics that they aren't even interested in, just to tell people how bad they think a game is. I don't care if he posts "MW3 will be the best game ever!" in the MW3 discussion, but if he mentions how bad BF3 will be in it then thats where i draw the line. BF3 fans could go into the MW3 Discussion and talk bad about it but they don't (for the most part), so i don't see why this guy (or kid) wants to start a flame war. Just doesn't make much sense to me how a lot of people are saying which game is better based on seeing footage of one and a very small Beta of another.

You're looking at one site. Sadly people preorder games from more then one site. So one you find the statistics of sites like best buy, walmart, gamestop, eb games, target, all those, your information based off one site doesnt mean much.
