Ok what seems to be my problem on my Jtag is my avatar is all greyed out?
Plus when trying to update my avatar tells me i need system update?
How can i fix this and what do i need?
I am on dashboard 2.0.13599.0 which i believe to be the latest!
Any help i will be grateful

You need to install the avatar / kinect update.
As odd as this sounds, you have to download the official MS update for your Kernel, in your case 13599, put it onto the root of a USB, plug it into your JTAG, boot it up, and apply the update.
This works, ONLY, if you are on a kernel that matches the update, as it will only install missing information, such as the avatar and kinect support.
Afterwards, your avatar will appear and be editable.
Do this at your own risk.
As odd as this sounds, you have to download the official MS update for your Kernel, in your case 13599, put it onto the root of a USB, plug it into your JTAG, boot it up, and apply the update.

to expand on this, you should know that there is a slight chance that it will install the whole update.
Which would blow your e-fuses, destroying your jtag rendering it unusable.

Indeed, that's why having the resistor bridged is helpful if you ever plan to use this.
