What do you mean know nothing about. I didnt ask to get flamed and this isnt your topic i asked for weezy not you. And the only reason i asked that question is because i just wanted to be ready to go right away, so dont say stuff that arent true.

sort of... The main purpose of a jtag is to bypass every patch to do glitched, mods, hacks and edit the game settings such as taking a previous item from a familiar game close to the one your modding. Example: Gold Deagle, COD 4 gun sound in mw2, etc.

and another purpose is enabling cheats (taking dvars from the PC etc) and a JTAG is the only way you can be allowed to play on edited patched,games, etc. JTAG also allowes you to mod it without having to use hex editor (the escripting is easier to read than hex formation text)

thats my way of explaining a JTAG a little, im ganna buy one soon fdrom kodeman (he has beast prices!)
