So heres my tutorial on how to create a server.

Things You will need before you start
1. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] > JDK

The tutorial will be split into parts.

Part 1 - Portforwarding
1.0
Before you start you will need a router, if you DO NOT have a router skip to 1.2. Ok so first you will need to know your router model/name, you can find this information underneath your router. Once you have found out your router name/model go to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . Next press CTRL + F and search for your router.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Once you find your router name click it and then a new page will come here Search for Runescape Private Server.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Click it then a Guide will come, you will need to follow this guide on your own. Once you have followed the guide correctly go to canyouseeme.org
and it will say "What Port" in there Type "43594" and click "Check".
You will get 2 results:
1. FAIL:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

2. SUCCESS:
Same image as above but instead of ERROR it will say SUCCESS.
If Success skip to Part 2 if Fail carry on reading.

Part 1.1
If you failed and your 100% sure you did everything right something might be blocking the connection first, if you have Utorrent you would want to turn it off and try again. To turn of Utorrent, File > Exit. DO NOT JUST CLICK THE X BUTTON. Now if it still did not work its most likely your Firewall is blocking it, ok first open your firewall. Control Panel > Firewall.
Now click allow a program through firewall. And click ADD PORT.
Fill it out like this :
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Then click ok then Add a port again and this time do UDP. Apply and ok. Then if your firewall is off turn it on. Then go to canyouseeme.org and try again. If your firewall is different and does not say add a port. you will need to click advanced settings and allow the program same as i showed.
If SUCCESS Skip to Part 2 If ERROR Carry on reading.

Part 1.2
This is your last bet if none of the above worked, yes Utorrent. alright you can download Utorrent [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] there. Next open it up and click Options > Preferences > Connection
And change everything and make it looks like this :
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Click apply and ok. Next click Options > Setup Guide
it should say current random port change that to 43594 and Run tests.
Heres the results.
If Port is open then its all good if there is a tick but a star next to it not good if both have crosses not good at all :@.
If port is still closed contact me.

Part 2
Ok now that you can do all of that you will need to get a no-ip. go to no-ip.com and register an account. once you registered, click account management. then add a host. You dont need to change anything just put in a no-ip and click add host. Next Download the DUC here : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and run it. thats no-ip for now.

Part 2.1
The source alright im assuming you have downloaded the source i said, ok first off you will need to check the compiler, just click compile. if it says "The system cannot find the path specified" you will need to edit the compiler. Right click and edit it, the code should look like this:
@echo off
"C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_24\bin\javac.exe" -classpath deps/log4j-1.2.15.jar;deps/jython.jar;deps/xstream.jar;deps/mina.jar;deps/mysql.jar;deps/poi.jar;deps/slf4j.jar;deps/slf4j-nop.jar -d bin src\server\event\*.java src\server\model\items\*.java src\server\model\minigames\*.java src\server\model\npcs\*.java src\server\model\objects\*.java src\server\model\players\*.java src\server\model\players\skills\*.java src\server\model\players\packets\*.java src\server\model\shops\*.java src\server\net\*.java src\server\task\*.java src\server\util\*.java src\server\world\*.java src\server\util\log\*.java src\server\*.java src\server\world\map\*.java
pause

Now what you need to change is the "jdk1.6.0_24". first you need to know your JDK version. to find this out :
My computer > C:Drive > Program Files > Java > JDK(Your Version Number Here) now it should say your version something like : jdk1.6.0_24. go to the compiler now ( in edit ) and change "1.6.0_24" to your version, save and exit. Next compile and Run the source.

Part 2.2
Now you need to create a webclient, but before you do that check your server status you can do that by going to google and typing "runescape server status checker" and typing in your no-ip and check. if its online good if not go over everything i said. now you need to create a webclient go onto rs-ps "type on google" and create a webclient there.

EDIT: Got to the last step with compiler. Using JDK 1.7.0, replaced it and saved. Get an error message:

javac: file not found: src\server\event\*.java
usage: javac <options> <source files>

Any ideas?
