If you are hating the beta because.
1. The graphics are bad.
2. There are glitches.
3. Over/Under powered weapons.
4. Lag, or connection lost.
It is a Beta! That is what betas are for! Testing. Dice is not going to make a beta that is almost 3 gigs so that 1 it takes for ever to download, and 2 so they release "real" gameplay. The Beta is made again for testing, weapons are going to be under/over powered. There are going to be glitches going under the map and suck forth. Lag and Lost connection is going to be a problem because there is limited amounts of spots in each game. and when there are tens of thousands of people playing the game, there is going to be some connection errors because its a BETA! And they are trying out Frostbite 2 servers. This is a whole different thing and they are testing this!
Must I say more?

good post and dice also said the main reason of the beta was to test the new severs they made or something like that.

also alot of people are complaining about the graphics, they pposted that they are running on older code so the graphics arnt the best will be in the real game though

Well I know the graphics are better than MW3's, the guns sound awesome, the firefight action is sick, its a beta and it WILL NOT lag this bad in the full game, and you'll be able to drive vehicles unlike COD in the full game and have bigger, better maps. So obviously BF3 is the better game? ...

I like the beta, and this will probaly sound like a rant from a COD fanboy.... but here's the problem:
They acknowledge their beta is old, but they release it anyways even offering prize money for ps3 and xbox 360 tournaments.
As a lot of people have stated, there are glaring problems, bugs etc... with the beta. As a comparison, there is a night and day difference between a Gears of War 3 Beta and this one.
If I were in Marketing for EA I would not have released this Beta simply because it is causing many people to wait or even cancel their pre-orders until a solid review is done to the game. Those the think they are stress testing are being lied to. I mean really, stress testing a 24 person server. Its not World of Warcraft! lol
Why the hell would they release an old beta, knowing people would judge it? They should of put something about it being an old beta when you start the beta up, after it shows the release date. Because people WILL judge by beta, and not everyone has a twitter so how would they know DICE said it was an old build?
