American football and Rugby and no where near the same sport... In football you wear Protection (ROFL) In rugby you dont. In rugby you play for 80 minutes, 40 Each way. Football you play 4 15mins, Which is completely stupid as the fat kids get to get there energy back... No where near the same....

Well rugby would be a superior sport to football if everyone who played it wasnt 5 foot 11 max,maybe theres some bigger kids but probably not also the game is played at half from what ive seen maybe not. Second american football consists of the average succesful player being 6 foot 3 230 pounds there is a big difference in size and speed. This is a key point because weight*speed=force which really can cause some injuries going against 510 force at full speed as opposed to what. Maybe rugby may take more pain because no pads but you inflict more pain in american football have a nice day sir and bottom line there two different sports backed by different cultures. Americans grow up loving football just like u grew up loving rugby I assume.
