I'm selling my Samsung Vibrant Galaxy S phone to someone and I want to know. If I reset my phone will it erase the unlock or is that irreversible?
I don't want to go through the hassle again and try to unlock it.

I think it will. Why don't you take the lock off and then reset it?

it will remove most permission's provided you unroot it then do a factory reset though there are always finger prints from the root no one will be looking for them or notice them.
