I actually got one of their pathetic letters framed; it now hangs to the right of my computer desk in my office.

If, and this is a big 'if,' Microsoft DID send a C&D to a site administrator, I doubt anything would be done about it. TTG's servers are probably (if not, that is the administrators' lazy fault) located offshore.

For similar situations, go to Google and search for The Pirate Bay C&D + reponses. They're hilarious.

It seems you don't know what a cease and desist letter is. If Microsoft, being the giant, money-hoarding ***holes they usually are, doesn't like whatever actions you partake in, they send you an angry little letter letting you know so.

I framed it as a reminder of what a joke Microsoft, as a company, is when their eyes are full of dollar signs.

Will all due respect, please don't insult me if you yourself don't have the intelligence required to figure out why I framed the letter.
