How will the clan Double XP work? the dew xp thing got me confused

You buy Mountain Dew. And it gives you a code which you will redeem through your xbox and you will get a certain amount of double xp.

I know that but how will the Clan Double XP you get with the hardened edition? Can you have a clan with just you a get double XP or do you have to earn the double xp in your clan or something?

I think occasionly it will give you an option if you have Elite for clan doule XP
