when does 1.9 come out any help would be great. and i know it should be coming out soon because of all the pre releases isnt it up to 4 now

No one really has a clue as of now. They dont like to give a date of release because they cant always deliver, and that just gets the community mad. Just watch Notches' Tumblr, twitter, and the minecraft forums.
