Nah, trust me. It's all hype. Nobody cares about the cables because they don't understand. Back in the day, Monster was one of the better cable manufacturers for the money and was an all around great company. Then they went crooked with their 100+ dollar HDMI cables (HDMI is a digital signal, so cable quality makes no difference whatsoever) and then got drunk off profits. Then they lost all my respect. They lost even more when they tried to make headphones.

Unfortunately, they succeeded. Now they're taking sales from all the real headphone manufacturers, like Sennheiser, Grado Labs, AKG, Beyerdynamic, Koss, Audio Technica, Denon, etc. It makes me sad.
