I am looking for a computer for gaming, and school/moviewatching, and maybe video recording and editing.

What is better

HP Pavilion Laptop / Intel Core i3 Processor / 14" Display / 6GB Memory / 640GB Hard Drive / 4.4 Pounds
6-cell lithium-ion battery
65W AC adapter
For $599

Or

HP Pavilion Laptop / AMD A-Series Processor / 15.6" Display / 8GB Memory / 640GB Hard Drive / 6 pounds
6-cell lithium-ion battery
65W AC adapter
For $620

Do you think that the second one is too large. (Screen size and weight. It als has the number pad on the right as well as above.)

Yes i do, I move around alot,So i need a laptop, If you can link me to a better laptop for around 700, please do

Problem is he supposedly needs a laptop due to school and what not.

I wouldn't choose either of them. You're on a very tight budget and are asking for demanding tasks. An i3 with IGP will get crushed while trying to edit / game. You may be able to get a (used) half descent laptop that has a solid quad core and a more up-to-date video chipset.
