I've liked dubstep probably longer than anyone on this site, never liked skrillex.
just came across a new artist called "liquid stranger" super dirty drops, deep deep base, check his shit out, all of his songs are **** sick. listen to all 3 links because all of his songs arte different

Skrillex is just by far the worst "dubstep" producer known to man. All he does is recycle the same annoying samples in every single song. He disregards the heavy sub-basslines that defines dubstep and instead makes as much noise as possible for the sake of making as much noise as possible. His tracks are like gingers; no soul. Just noise noise and more noise simply because that talentless jumble of incoherent sh*te is what appeals to the vast majority of 13 year old weemo ****** that think they're hxd for cutting their rists to skrillex tracks played through their mums laptops. F*ck skrillex and all his works. Just go listen to some caspa for gods sake.

Check the quotes around "dubstep" in my original post. He doesn't produce dubstep at all, most of it is electro-house, and the stuff that could be defined as dubstep is actually in the "Brostep" subgenre. Just to give you an idea of what the electronic community thinks of Brostep, please refer to

Brostep is a relatively new sub-genre of music (born out of Dubstep micro-genre) which has no emphasis on soul.

The goal appears to be to produce music as fast as you possibly can, without placing any emphasis on quality.

Unlike Dubstep where sub bass is key, Brostep places more emphasis on ratty high frequency samples and oscillators that arent even low frequency. Toss in a few hip hop vocal samples and you are well on your way to being the worlds next big Brostep producer.

It's crazy bc in the u.s if you ask someone if they have herd of dubstep and they say yes, they will say skrillex.and skrillex is not really dubstep.
