Well a few days ago I was trying to configure McMyAdmin to work with my Minecraft server. After several failed attempts I thought "Why don't I write a simple Permissions Program that works like McMyAdmin?". I had planned to write it in Visual Basic and bascially add support for most of the permissions plugins. Basically the user will copy and paste the permissions node (ex. essential.tp) and the program will simply paste it into the location specified and with the correct format. I was also thinking of adding prefix and suffix support to this.

I have two questions before I begin development:

1. Is there a program that has a similar functionality?

2. Would this be something server owners would use?

i wouldnt really use a program like this, as i dont use mcmyadmin, i just use a bukkit server ran on my vps, and i have permissions installed, and i find it easy to add nodes to it.

I was thinking this would be more for beginners because I remember when I started my first server. I was shocked by how many permissions you needed to do.
