Meelectronics M6, or Brainwavz M1. I'd go with the Meelecs. If you can stretch your budget a little, the Brainwavz M2 (Visang RO3) is within reach. I'd also check out the Koss Portapros and KSC75s, if I were you.

Aha, I like those big budgets.

If you're exclusively listening to rock, I'd go with a pair of Grados. The SR325is are within your price range, and the SR225is are also a good choice. The 325is benefit from(and probably need) amping, so include a Fiio E6, a Cmoy BB (search ebay), or a PA2V2 (again, ebay). If you read up on the amps, you might be able to find out which one you prefer. Google is your friend, and there is always Head-Fi!

As a sidenote, you may not like the Grados, just because of their sound signature. Very in-your-face, and I can confirm this. They are ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT for rock music, though. If you are worried about not liking them, Amazon has very kind return policies.

Are you missing keys on your keyboard? It takes more effort to type like that, so do us all a favor and refrain from doing so.

Here's what I gathered:

Budget: 0-80

Music preference: Hip-Hop, Drum & Bass, and Dubstep

Type / form factor and portability: Portable

Open/Closed (Not for in-ear): In-ear or (?) Over-ear

Source(s): I don't know, and PM me the info as well so I can see, PLEASE

FTFY, pal.

You're a bit ambiguous, but it sounds like these would be the best choices for you. That's a very nice budget for your preferences, too!

The Hippo VBs, which are available from Jaben or Uncle Wilson's (Google will not fail you). (In-ear)

The Sony XB700 from Amazon. (Over-ear)

Nope. The funny thing is that there are fanboys for M50s now. I think it's cool that they're getting recognition, but they are not the end-all, be-all. You can easily get better headphones just above the price range of the M50, but the M50s are pretty much the undisputed king of their price range. I have a pair, and man, they do not disappoint. I am looking to sell them in favor of an upgrade though.

Your budget - 30 ( GBP )

Which genres you'll be listening to - everything really

What kind you want - in ear

Whether you want open or closed headphones - doesn't matter

What you are listening from - ipod, laptop
