is it a wired or wireless controller... if its wireless try taking off ur faceplace maybe something is covering the xboxs sensor for the wireless shit so take off of the faceplate and make sure u are pressin the sync button on the cosole and the controller

its possible that your starting to get the red rings my cousin was having the same issue and landed up with red rings

You have to sync your controller and your xbox if u wireless
