Of course they will. That's why I derive my information from people that know how to describe the sound, the frequency response graphs, technical data and specs, and people who objectively and subjectively compare them to other models.

If you think I don't like Monster, you're right. They have terrible business practices and essentially scam people. I know a lot about the company, and they were not always this way. There was a time when they were one of the best budget quality cable manufacturers on the market. Things have changed. If they made a better product, I would support it. But they do not. I do, however, like their Turbine line. Very nice stuff! I just wish they would get some of the people who worked on the Turbines and MDTs on Beats. Then maybe we would see some remote quality from them.

And ahhh, KRKs! Very nice. I wouldn't mix on either, though. For production, a neutral sound is much better. For headphones, I'd get something along the lines of M50s, or if you have money, the Audeze LCD-3s with a complimenting amp and DAC.

Ultrasone products were made for you. At your budget, look at the Pro 750s or the DJ1 Pro. If you can stretch the budget a bit, check out the Pro 900s. These do need to be amped, as all high-end headphones need to be (Beats are not high-end, by the way). The lowest I would go for an amp is a Fiio E5, although it will be adequate. Make sure you get a line out connector for iDevices so you can bypass the internal amp that sucks in favor of your external one. This way you are not using two amps at once, which is bad for quality. Your setup might be a bit more cumbersome, but you'll hear the difference.

Other amps I suggest are the iBasso D2+ (iBasso's site), cMoy BB (Ebay), PA2V2 (Ebay), the Fiio E7 (Fiio's site), and the Fiio D10. Personally, I'd get the D2+, because it has what is called a DAC as well as an amp. A DAC is a digital-analog converter. All music you hear is analog, but the files are digital. Everything that plays digital music has one, but not all are created equal. The DAC chip in the D2+ is worlds better than the one in a computer with onboard sound. You plug the D2+ in with USB and it acts as an external sound card. It can also act as just an amp, when you are listening from an iDevice with line out. For the line out dock (LOD) connector, you don't need anything fancy just yet. The Fiio L3 or L9 will suffice.

Tell me if you need any help! If you were previously considering Beats, the Pros have nothing on this setup. It's on another level and will make the Beats look like garbage.

Hippo VBs are your best bet for bassy music at 80 bucks.

Need more info, at least a budget. When people say anything for a budget, I'll just go ahead and say my dream rig that costs upwards of $30,000. Electrostatic cans and amp, price-is-no-object DAC, thousands in cables, turntables, cartridges, etc. Fun stuff.
