I have the open tray error and i tried everything on youtube(messing with the lasers screws, changing games and removing my hardrive)
Non of them worked so if anyone has a perminite fix or even temporery. Please

i had the same problem, nothing honestly works, you will only make the condition worse by tampering with your xbox. Your only option really is to send it in to microsoft if you have warrenty and haven't voided it (by opening your xbox). Other than that, nothing else can really be done besides buying a new xbox.

Blow in the open DVD tray untill it doesn't do that anymore, Thats what i did.

If you wan to DIY then just buy a replacement laser, if you don't want to DIY then head to the marketplace for repair shops, i'm in the UK and i offer a repair service, if you're US then try Icy Tank
